The customer was seeking to improve the software and technologies in a demanding market of footwear and apparel industries. To meet this aim they needed to quickly grow their technical team and fill in specific aspects of expertise. The areas requiring refinement were Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Graphical Documentation Management (GDM) software optimization and enhancement of the algorithm for Automated Leather Calculation.

We quickly augmented PROCAM’s in-house software development capabilities with top niche expertise. Our specialists brought significant improvement to 3D modeling performance for Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. The revamped 3D engine fit the current software system, technologies and met the required specifications.
Our team boosted the performance of the Graphical Documentation Management (GDM) Software. This product is used for documenting production processes within the shoe industry. We developed and integrated a control that supports adding and creating a group of elements and reworked items templates to simplify the visual tree.
FInally, Elcid team enhanced the calculation method for the automatic layout of patterns (shoe parts) on irregular shaped leather hides with the goal to optimize the layout efficiency of these patterns.
We provided not only technical expertise but also a strong work ethic for staff augmentation to meet high corporate standards of PROCAM.
